StandardAIse starts from a simple idea: Europe should not have to choose between moving quickly in artificial intelligence and building technology that is safe, ethical and internationally competitive.
The project creates a bridge between laboratory breakthroughs and the standards that enable market readiness. It brings together complementary expertise in research, manufacturing, education, stakeholder engagement and standardisation.
Its work is organised around practical tools and services: identifying gaps in the current standards landscape, supporting SMEs and researchers, testing approaches through pilot standardisation actions, developing a long-term roadmap and building expertise through an AI Standardisation Academy.
By making the process easier to understand and easier to access, StandardAIse aims to give more European innovators a meaningful role in shaping the standards that will define the future of AI.
